CCE’s Immersion programs offer week-long trips in communities where students learn about social justice and environmental issues, and reflect on their experiences.
During Spring break, students travel and focus on core themes of simplicity, community, spirituality, and Justice and learn alongside community partners.
Spring break immersions cost $350 and cover all travel and program costs including transportation, lodging, meals, and a donation to host organizations.
$150 Registration and deposit can be completed here for the upcoming Spring immersions.
*Registration is limited and is a first come first serve basis*
Two $100 instalments are due Dec 15th & Feb 1st following the deposit.
Housing Security - Support a Habitat for Humanity home build while learning about issues-related to housing security and access.
Environmental & Racial Justice - Explore the intersection of environmental and racial justice and community efforts to address historic environmental harms impacting underrepresented communities.
Inclusion & Solidarity - Serve at the L'Arche Farm & Garden while learning about the community's efforts to build spaces of inclusion and access for individuals with and without intellectual disabilities.
Food Justice - Explore one community's approach to addressing food justice issues from increasing food access to advocating for the rights of agricultural workers in the region.

During Winter break, students explore the realities of immigration and border issues along the US-Mexico border and enter into dialogue with individuals impacted by immigration, community leaders, non-profits and government agencies.
Winter break immersions cost $725 and cover all travel and program costs including transportation, lodging, meals, and a donation to host organizations and a one-way flight to Spokane from your assigned Immersion site at the end of the trip. To sign up for the Winter Break Immersion, students pay a $150 non-refundable deposit. 2021-2022 Winter Immersion fee waivers and financial assistance applications are currently closed.
