Zag Study Buddies is a group mentoring and tutoring program that places teams of Gonzaga students with elementary or middle school youth. The program focuses on relationship building, homework comprehension, and homework completion. ZSB mentors attend programming twice weekly during the afterschool hours (3:00-4:15pm or 3:30-5:15pm, depending on the site) and participate in field trips at Gonzaga once a semester.
Zag Study Buddies is a semester-long commitment for GU students. We encourage mentors to consider committing to the program for longer than one semester, but this is not a requirement.
If you have any questions, we encourage you to visit us in the Hemmingson Center (Suite 010) or contact Bailley Wootton at 509-313-6821 or wootton@gonzaga.edu.
