Gonzaga’s Jesuit, Catholic, Humanistic education will challenge and inspire you.
The May 2019 graduating class boasted 63.3% of its students who had participated in Study Abroad during their Gonzaga experience. This ranks Gonzaga #11 in the U.S. for Doctorate-granting Universities for 2018-2019 for the percentage of undergrads studying abroad by the time they graduate. The national reporting agency, Institute for International Education, calculates percentage of study abroad participants based upon the previous year. This data is published each November, as such the most recent percentage data is for academic year 2018-2019. The 2019-2020 percentage will be published in November 2021.
Enrollment for 2019-2020 was 614. This is lower than past years due to canceling summer 2020 programs as a result of the pandemic. Study abroad did not resume programming until May 2021.
Study Abroad will focus on Gonzaga in Florence course development to increase enrollment capacities and continues curriculum integration work between our partner universities and academic departments to support students’ academic progression.
