About
Gonzaga’s Jesuit, Catholic, Humanistic education will challenge and inspire you.
Financial aid regulations allow us to use current or projected financial information to help you.
Please complete the following intake form to help us understand your request for additional financial aid. Most families file an appeal due to a loss of income or change of circumstances – however some want to make sure they are receiving the most comprehensive financial aid package or seek out additional self-help options, such as work-study and loans. This initial form allows us to review the information and advance your request to best serve your family’s needs.
The FAFSA uses prior-prior year income data, and while this is adequate for most families, we understand that the income data entered on the FAFSA can become inaccurate as financial circumstances change. Our appeal process works to recalculate the FAFSA with your current income data, but it is important to understand that not all appeals will result in changes to a student’s aid package.

As part of the appeal process we need to verify that the information originally submitted on the FAFSA is correct. If you used the IRS Data Retrieval tool when completing the FAFSA, you should be set. If you did not, we will need a copy of the IRS 1040 that your family submitted.
