Honors Living

Honors is a tight knit, diverse, and welcoming community.

  

In addition to the intimate and collegial nature of the seminars and colloquia, students get to know each other in the First-year Living and Learning community, program retreats, and events – such as the annual Christmas Party and the 60-Second Lectures – as well as through a variety of class meals, activities, and events. Peer mentoring programs and the Big/Little program ensure students make connections with students from other classes, providing lots of chances for help, advice, and friendship.

 

Honors students can gather, study, cook and socialize in the Honors Living Learning Community in Crimont Hall, open to all students in the Honors Program. There, they will also find access to a game room, a television room, state of the art video game system, free printing, and meeting space. Honors Faculty Fellows often hold office hours in Crimont, as well as host informal events such as cooking or knitting classes, movie nights, or the occasional air hockey tournament.
