Gonzaga University has several ways for the entire campus to play an active role in the creation of a culture of sustainability:
We curate the monthly Campus Sustainability Committee, and offer students and employees an opportunity to share, discuss, and act on sustainability issues at Gonzaga. We support student sustainability related groups and clubs, and offer counsel and advice to students as requested.
The Office of Sustainability, located on the North side of Sharp Avenue from campus, also engages with students and employees by offering shared working space and a small venue for talks, movie screenings, and meetings.
The Employee Sustainability Ambassadors Program will serve as a way to engage employees in sustainability at Gonzaga. In a similar way the Student Sustainability Leadership Program brings together student leaders seeking sustainability skills and sustainability students seeking leadership skills.
