In an increasing diverse society, teachers and professionals of all kinds need to have the knowledge and skills to support and value a multiplicity of perspectives. In this major, students will gain a sophisticated, practical understanding of the ways in which cultures, languages, and literacies support and challenge communities. This degree is designed to support those individuals who are pursuing careers in elementary and community education.
