How to Schedule
Exams are offered by appointment only and must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance. Canceling or rescheduling with less than 72 hours notice will result in a $45 no-show/late cancellation fee.
- Step 1 - Registration for Gonzaga Testing Center
- Step 2 - Scheduling. After your payment is submitted online, a representative from the testing center will contact you, or email CLEP@gonzaga.edu or call (509) 313-3960 to schedule the exam.
- Step 3 - Purchase Your Exam on CLEP Website.
Fees
All fees must be paid online prior to scheduling the exam. The fees are as follows:
- Proficiency Exams: $125 ($75 discounted fee for Gonzaga employees)
- CLEP Exams: $134 ($45 admin fee to Gonzaga + $89 College Board test fee)
- DSST Exams: $145 ($45 admin fee to Gonzaga + $100 College Board test fee)
- MAT: $95
- Proctored Exams: $45 for first hour; $30/hour each additional hour (GU students only)

Directions to Gonzaga's Jepson Center:
Testing candidates who do not have a registered parking permit are restricted to parking along Sharpe Avenue and Astor or in marked Visitor Parking slots. Please use this map to reference acceptable parking locations. On this map, the Jepson Center is labeled as "JC" and located down Astor above the River Walk Loop Trail.
CLEP Exams
The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) allows students to test out of subjects by demonstrating proficiency on CLEP exams. Students study independently and schedule their exams through Gonzaga or another testing center. If you do not pass a CLEP exam, you must wait three months to re-take it. This penalty is incurred regardless of whether or not you report your scores.
The testing center is able to administer all CLEP exams. Below are the subjects that are prerequisites in Gonzaga's MBA, MAcc, and MSTax programs.

Proficiency Exams
Proficiency exams are designed specifically for Gonzaga students to satisfy MBA, MAcc, and MSTax prerequisites and will not act as transfer credit to other universities. These exams may only be attempted once. Students who do not pass will be required to complete the applicable prerequisite courses.
